Suddenly locked down during the pandemic only four months into their marriage, Jeremy Rosenblum and Erin Sydney founded the post-punk/indie-pop project 37 Houses to express the frustrations that come with the complications and difficulties of even the best of relationships.
With Rosenblum writing songs and Sydney lending her voice to the vocals, they recorded their debut self-titled album entirely in their own living room. The album, released November 2024, draws influence from artists ranging from post-punk greats like Sharon Van Etten and indie pop artists like Built to Spill, Pulp, and Modest Mouse.
